Jennifer Daniels Loveday, 62, of Columbia, SC, passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2025, at MUSC Hospital in Columbia, SC. A rare and progressive cancer took her much too soon.
Jennifer was born September 12th, 1963, in Columbia, SC to Rebecca Hiers Daniels Kenneally and the late Delano Daniels. She lived all of her life in Columbia and had countless friends. Her marriage to Randy Loveday in 2002 was the beginning of a wonderful time of Beaches, Billiards, Crab Legs and FurBabies. She was passionate about her furbabies, provided loving homes for numerous dogs and a couple of cats, and was always ready to take in another homeless stray. She loved the game of pool and played in a league where she won the title of Top Female for the last 2 years, helping to send her #1 2025 team to Nationals in Las Vegas in upcoming 2026. Her teammates loved her dearly and will miss her cheerful and spicy presence. Her happiest times of all were the frequent beach trips with her beloved husband of 23 years, who was her perfect match.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Loveday of Columbia, SC; mother, Rebecca Kenneally of Columbia, SC; brother, Russell Daniels (Katrina); and niece, Gabi Daniels of Columbia.
There will be a memorial service at Thompson Funeral Home on Leesburg Rd, Columbia, Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 1PM, followed by a visitation for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, PLEASE send contributions to Homeward Bound Pet Rescue in Irmo, SC.
