Katrina Marie Simpson passed away at Vibra Hospital in Boise, Idaho on December 24, 2025 from acute pancreatitis.

Katrina was born on May 27, 1961 in Caldwell, Idaho to Verden and A. Jane (Henson) Simpson.From an early age, Katrina was a lover of animals, especially cats. There was never a time in her life when she did not own a couple of cats.Katrina also cared a great deal for other people. After attending high school in Middleton, Idaho, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant. During her career, she worked in two skilled nursing facilities before transitioning to home health care. She performed this job until she became too sick to do so in late 2025.Katrina is survived by her long time significant other Kelly Graham, son Matthew York, and brother Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents Verden and A. Jane, and brother Matthew.Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing and funeral service for Katrina, which will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Boulevard, Caldwell, Idaho. A viewing for friends and family will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm also at Flahiffs with interment to follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
