Christy Marlene Chavez passed away at just 44 years old, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and will miss her beyond words.   Christy was stubborn in the way only someone with a big heart can be — strong-willed, determined, and never thinking of herself before others. She went above and beyond to care for the people she loved and gave selflessly of her time, energy, and heart. She had an instinct to protect and nurture, whether it was her family or any animal that crossed her path. She tried to save every animal she encountered, showing compassion without hesitation.   She was the main caregiver for her parents, Carlos and Janeth Chavez, a role she took on with devotion and love. Her generosity extended to everyone around her, often shown through the meals she prepared — always made with care, warmth, and a touch of love that brought her family together in the most meaningful way. Christy had an amazing sense of humor — one that could lighten even the hardest moments. Her laughter, warmth, and ability to give without expectation will be remembered always.   She is survived by her loving parents, Carlos and Janeth Chavez; her sister, Gabrielle Chavez; her nephews, Stewie and Mickey, whom she loved dearly; and her brother, Ari, along with his children in Kentucky.   Christy fought incredibly hard — for her family, for her health, and for those she loved. Her strength, sacrifice, and love leave a legacy that will never be forgotten.
