Daniel Eugene Jackson, 78, husband of Penny Jackson, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. A native of Woodford County, he was born on January 25, 1947 to the late Ann Chapman Nallia (Joe). Daniel retired from Sylvania as a manufacturing manager and was a member of Wesley Covenant Fellowship.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Daniel Jackson (Jessica) and Neil Jackson (Stephany); his brother, Joe Nallia II (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Gabby McGee (Nick), Danielle Jackson, Elizabeth Jackson, and Maria Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Jackson McGee and Emmy McGee. His Nephews Joseph III and Miles Nallia. Additional Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Mary Bell Chapman; and his sister, Mary Ann Nallia.
Daniel was president of the Woodford County Gideons for many years. His favorite pastime of 50 years was playing Bluegrass music primarily the Banjo.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Pastor Matt Merrell officiating. Burial will follow at Versailles Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 2:30pm on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Clark Funeral home, Rose Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideons.
