Pamela Kay Spangler, 65, of Lynchburg,VA, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at her home. She was the wife of Eric  Spangler. 

Born May 16, 1960, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Randolph and Eva Marie Drummond Barksdale. She was a hair stylist for many years and adored by her clients. She was a member of Leesville Road Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Eric  Spangler; her son, Dr. Jay Forrest Spangler of York, PA; one brother, Darryl Dean Barksdale of Lynchburg and many friends and clients as well as her special fur friend “Bo the orange cat.” 

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 10 –10:45 am at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. Steve Spangler officiating. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Locks of Love, 234 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33405-2701or Campbell County Humane Society. 322 Dennis Riddle Dr. Rustburg, VA 24588.
