On Monday, December 29th, 2025, Andy Jaramillo, husband of four children and four stepchildren, passed away at age 74.

Andy was born on April 10, 1951, in Las Vegas NM to Eusebio and Maria Jaramillo.  He received his Master of Arts Degree from Highlands University in Las Vegas NM., teaching for 30 years in New Mexico. On February 14, 1992, he married Vivian Hudson Prather.

Andy had a passion for working with different youth organizations. Andy set up Summer TMH (trainable mentally handicapped) for two consecutive years.  He loved being an official for the state of NM, officiating basketball, baseball and football.  He enjoyed attending the Lobo games whether it was girls or boys basketball games or football games.

Andy was preceded in death by his father, Eusebio, his mother Maria, two sisters Mary Ann and Belinda. He is survived by his wife Vivian, his four children, Andy, Anthony, Penny, Fred, sisters, Frances, Lorraine, Dora, Diane, Beatrice and brother Hilario, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, January 16th at Riverside Funeral Home on 820 Main St NE in Los Lunas at 2 o’clock p.m. Flowers may be sent to Riverside Funeral Home, 820 Main St NE Los Lunas, NM.
