Roy A. Hastings, 77, a resident of Belchertown, MA for 15 years, passed away on January 4, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on May 8, 1948, in Springfield, MA he was the son of Warren and Gertrude (Cooley) Hastings.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy J. (Anderson) Hastings, and five children: Denine Hastings-Guardino and her spouse, Vincent Jr.; Kerri Hastings; Susan Costigan and her spouse, James; Sean McEachin and his spouse, Kim; and Christi Hastings. Roy cherished his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by his "Geezer buddies."

Throughout his life, Roy dedicated himself to the automotive industry, spending many years working for C.A.R Products until his retirement. His passion for cars, particularly his treasured Mustang, was a significant part of who he was.

In keeping with Roy's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Belchertown Animal Relief Committee, P.O. Box 161, Belchertown, MA 01007.
