Kathleen (Kathy) Emily Rose (Age 82) of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She was at home in Los Lunas, New Mexico with her significant other, Danny Grijalva. Kathleen was born April 5, 1943, in Washington, DC.

She is survived by her siblings, Peggy Sprinkle, Marylane Thornton, Kellye Pape, Kevin Dwyer and Shaun Dwyer. She is also survived by three daughters, Kate Grumbine, Laura Nelson and Krista Nelson and four grandchildren along with many family & friends. 

 She has always enjoyed traveling. She traveled to Europe, New Zealand and many places in the US. She was active and enjoyed golfing, hiking, snow shoeing, biking and kayaking. She was also a very talented person. She had a passion for quilting and has created many amazing quilts. She also enjoyed working on needle point projects.

Services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home, 820 Main St. NE, Los Lunas, New Mexico, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
