Bobby Thompson was born on January 9th, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Son of Mary Williams and Leroy Thompson Sr. He attended Maddison High School. Bobby later earned his GED and went onto trucking school, where he earned his CDL license. He transitioned into a forklift operator for Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he later retired.

Bobby's warm soul touched many people with a simple gesture. He was often found sitting on the porch doing the "Bobby wave". He enjoyed fishing, boating and many other finer things in life- especially fashion in his early days.

Bobby found love with Denise Saundra Dixon, giving birth to his only son and heir Joseph Eric Thompson in 1984. In 2020 he became grandfather to his only grandchild Izabella Zhanna Thompson. 

Bobby is predeceased by his parents: Mary Williams and Leroy Thompson Sr, his one and only true love Joanna Paoli of over 25yrs, siblings Joseph Thompson (Jojo) and Angela Denise Thompson aka Sissy.

He is survived by his son Joseph Thompson, brothers Leroy Thompson Jr, Donald and Ronald Thompson, granddaughter Izabella Zhanna Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
