Peter “Fluff” A. Zachariadis, 71, of Davenport, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at AdventHealth Celebration. He was born on August 12, 1954, in Sudan, Africa, to Andreas Petros and Evanthia Vounatsos Zachariadis. Peter moved to Florida in January of 2010 from Arlington, Texas. He dedicated over 20 years of service working as a Fleet Service Clerk before retiring in 2009 and he attended the Greek Orthodox Church.

Peter lived life with joy, laughter, and a deep love for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and shooting enthusiast who enjoyed traveling and relaxing at home watching television—especially The Price Is Right. One of his greatest pleasures was taking his 2002 Corvette out for a drive. Family time meant everything to Peter, and he treasured every moment spent with those he loved. He was a genuinely good person—everyone who met him loved him. Peter was a jokester with a caring heart, known for his warm personality and infectious sense of humor. He adored his fur babies, his Chihuahuas, and in his younger years, he was fun-loving, active, and always ready to enjoy life to the fullest.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andreas Petros and Evanthia Zachariadis, and his brother, Vasilis Zachariadis. Peter leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 39 years, Marianne Zachariadis; his brother, Eleftherios Zachariadis of Davenport, FL; his nephews, Andreas Zachariadis of Davenport, FL, Wayne Votino of Florida, and Shawn (Samantha) Riley of Wesley Chapel, FL; nieces, Lisa Votino of Long Island, NY and Heather Riley of Long Island, NY; his brothers-in-law, George Votino and Thomas (Catherine) Votino, both of Long Island, NY; and sister-in-law, Carol Riley of Davenport, FL.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL. Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Lakeland, FL. Peter’s final resting place will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY.
