Connie Lee Rogers (née Lindsay), age 82, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, in Largo, Florida. Born on November 23, 1943, in Freeport, Illinois, Connie brought warmth and creativity into the lives of those around her throughout her long and meaningful life.Connie was the beloved wife of Roger Rogers, with whom she shared 63 devoted years of marriage. Together they built a life rooted in love and family. She was a cherished mother to Tim Rogers and his wife Tammy (Herring), Mike Rogers and his wife Kris (Stitzel), and to Cory Rogers. Connie's heart was especially full when it came to her grandchildren, Devon and Kylie Rogers, whom she loved dearly.She was preceded in death by her parents, Laverne Lindsay and Clara Lindsay (née Riley), her brother Ronald Lindsay, as well as her son Mike Rogers.A deeply artistic soul, Connie found joy and expression through painting and ceramics. Her creative spirit touched many, whether through the beauty of her artwork or the passion she brought to each piece she crafted. A lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, Connie's admiration for his music added a joyful soundtrack to her days. Her love for animals further reflected her gentle nature and compassionate heart.A funeral service honoring Connie's life was held at A Life Tribute Funeral Home in Largo, Florida on January 7, 2026.May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
