Janet Carol Newman, 88, born on February 27, 1937, went home to her heavenly father on January 2, 2026. Janet was born in Flandreau, South Dakota, to Gerlad Gothier and Ruth Moon.
She Married the love of her life Donald Newman on April 22, 1957.
Janet graduated from Berthoud High School then went on to a lifelong career at the family business doing furniture upholstery. She retired in 2017 due to health issues.
Janet enjoyed camping, fishing, needlework, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Janet is survived by her daughter Carla Campbell, son Tony (Sheryl) Newman, sister Mary (Chuck) Hill, grandchildren Christina (Bradley) Grossman, Jess Campbell, Dustin (Julie) Mjelde, Shawn (Kristin) Mjelde, great- grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and ruth, her husband Donald Newman, brother, sister-in-law, and son-in-law.
Donations can be sent to the Loveland Elks Lodge #1051 for the Elks Scholarship Found in honor of Janet Newman.
