Kaylee Emma Mitchell, age 6, was called home to heaven to be with her Heavenly Father and our Savior on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa with her family by her side. Kaylee was born on August 6, 2019, in Winter Haven, Florida. She was a kindergartener and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Haines City. Kaylee enjoyed listening to music and movies, head scratches, surprises, tummy time, and riding in her stroller with her twin and going on walks with her family who she loved and adored. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Grant C. Mitchell. Sweet Kaylee is survived by her loving and  devoted parents – John and Whitnee and her 3 sisters – Leah Dene’, Anna Lucille, her twin, Baylee Grace, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Kaylee’s life will be held 4pm Saturday, January 17th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2309 South 9th Street, Haines City, Florida, 33844.
