Londa Rose Lybolt, 50, of Gloversville, NY passed away January 2, 2026 at Albany Medical Center. She was born September 5, 1975 in Sisseton, South Dakota.

Londa went to Fonda-Fultonville Central School and later worked as a home health aide until her health became too much. Londa enjoyed enjoyed her family and especially our grandson Nyjah who was the light that lit her up.

Our son MJ who she called the miracle child (she was right) MJ has his mother’s strength and confidence. MJ makes his own music and his mother was his number one fan and he knew if she approved because she would get up and dance around to it or say nah it’s missing something. She also loved her daughter Jessica her first born and always supported her with anything.

Londa was stern but only because she cared but she was also very compassionate and caring. She loved the outdoors and the sunshine as well as her flowers each spring. She loved walks and hiking and just being outside. She loved to have fun although not much of that these past several years unfortunately.

She will be missed immensely her laugh, smile and sense of humor. She was the rock that held everything together. She was wise, smart, loving, caring very good at the DIY projects. Londa loved life and those she shares it with as I said our grandson and her were partners in crime. I could write and write and it still wouldn’t explain who she was as a person she was the absolute best friend, companion and greatest love I could ever ask for and she will forever be missed and loved!!

Londa was one of the most beautiful and loving women I’ve ever known. She was very proud of her heritage being probably one of the only true Americans as a 100% Lakota Sioux. She definitely wasn’t selfish she would do anything for for anyone whether she knew you or not.

Londa is survived by Mark her love of 27 years and her son MJ, grandson Nyjah and daughter Jessica as well as her mother-in-law Pam. She is also survived by her South Dakota family who never forgot her, Uncle Myron DuMarce, Aunt Shelly DuMarce and family, Aunt LeAnn Wolff and family, grandmother Marvel Bursheim. I can’t leave out her cats Yami and Boot and Folley.

She was preceded in death by her father Lonnie DuMarce and adopted father Ray Lybolt

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Londa's memory may be made to the family. The family has chosen to remember Londa's life privately at this time with a celebration of life this spring/summer.
