On the morning of January 3, 2026, Paul Edwin LaBrue, 83, went home to be with the Lord.

Paul was well known throughout the area as a skilled and dedicated cabinet maker.

He founded LaBrue's Cabinet Shop, which he proudly operated from 1973 to 1997. Through his craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and unwavering integrity, Paul left a lasting mark on the community and on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Leland LaBrue; mother, Lorine LaBrue; and brothers, Leland LaBrue, Clarence LaBrue, and Robert LaBrue.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 62 years, Sandra "Sandy" Waller LaBrue; son, Larry LaBrue; daughter-in-law, Brenda LaBrue; daughter, Michele Calkins-Farley; son-in-law, Dale Farley; grandchildren, Derrick LaBrue, DJ Calkins, Bradley LaBrue, Brandi Weber, Jonathan Peters, and Madysen LaBrue; and his great-grandchildren, Atticus LaBrue, Aniston Calkins, Callen Weber, Phoenix LaBrue, Bennett Calkins, Mayleigh Weber, and Samuel Peters and Crew Calkins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 12 PM, at Sutter Baptist Church, located at 2310 Mulberry Street.

Paul will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love of family, his steadfast faith, and the meaningful legacy he leaves behind.
