Phil spent most of his early life in Brooklyn, where he graduated from Lafayette High School and later attended Bridgeport University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army before beginning a long and honorable career as a New York City police officer, from which he eventually retired. In 1980, Phil relocated to Seminole, Florida, where he built lasting friendships and embraced retirement.
Phil was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Iris Deborah Roth; his parents, Hilda and Moses Roth; and his sister, Helene Goldfinger. He is survived by his loving sons, Jeffrey, Michael, and Richard; his cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Courtney, Samantha, Breanna, and Joseph; and his adored great-grandchildren, Harrison, Marley, Lainey, Katherine, and Henry, who brought him immense pride and joy.
