Cypriano Madril, age 82, gained his wings on January 1, 2026, in Denver, Colorado with his family by his side. Cypriano was born on December 8,1943 in Duran, New Mexico, to Joaquin Madril and Andrea (Montoya) Madril. He later married the love of his life, Josephine Gallegos on April 22,1967 in Denver, Colorado.

Cypriano proudly served in the United States Army. Throughout his life, he worked as a warehouse manager in Denver, a self-employed truck driver, and later in Transportation painting cars at Cannon Air Force Base for 26 years before retiring. In his spare time, Cypriano loved working on classic vehicles, building trailers, and designing and building various styles of BBQ grills. His craftmanship was widely appreciated throughout the Clovis and Denver communities. He also enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Cypriano was a longtime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He was happiest when surrounded by friends and family.

Cypriano is survived by his children: Jose Madril, Maria Dodge (Mark) and Lupe Carrillo (Sam); his grandchildren; Jordan Padilla, Stephan Marquez, Noah Madril, Isaiah Madril, SJ Carrillo, and Analicia Carrillo; and his great- grandchildren; Bastian Padilla, Julius Padilla, Eliana Padilla, Christiano Marquez, and Marciano Marquez. He is also survived by his siblings; Mida Cadena, Larry Sena and Christine Espinosa of Clovis, NM, Roy Marquez of Hobbs, NM and Elva Belmonte (Emelo "Pat") of Mountain Home, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Madril; his parents, Joaquin and Andrea Madril; Five brothers: Joaquin Madril, Michael Sena, Arturo Sena, Richard Sena, and Gabriel Montoya; his sister Annie Porras.

A private burial will take place at a later date.
