Dr. Mark R.Sneller  1942-2026   Mark passed peacefully of natural causes on January 12th. He was an accomplished local presence in Tucson for over 40 years, where he used his extensive knowledge in microbiology to support Tusconians with his knowledge of pollens and molds. He was a PhD in microbiology, one-time president of the Society of Southwestern Authors, President of the Society of American Magicians, a karate black belt, and an avid swimmer. At one time, he held the state record in the 200 M freestyle at the Senior Olympics. He was a lifelong learner and world traveler since his days in the Peace Corps from the 1960s onward. He is survived by his son, Ke, his daughter, Jessica, a sister, a brother, and four grandchildren.
