Patricia Green, 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, with her family by her side.

She was born on March 17, 1941, in Sparta, Wisconsin, to Lawrence Nevin and Louise (Laufenberg) Nevin. Patricia spent her childhood in Ontario, Wisconsin, and graduated from Ontario High School in 1959. On April 22, 1961, she married Glenn Green at Saint Mary’s Ridge Catholic Church in Cashton, Wisconsin. They later moved to Fort Atkinson, where they made their home and raised their three sons.

Pat was truly one of a kind, known for her loving and generous heart. She cherished celebrating her Irish heritage, watching sunsets from her deck, enjoying a good book, frequent outings and dinners with friends, and being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whenever possible.

She is survived by her three sons, Dennis (Heidi) Green, Douglas (Jackie) Green, and Brian (Tonja) Green; six grandchildren, Dustin (Loren LaPointe) Green, Sam (Bri Moritz) Green, Meghann Green, Michael (Liz) Green, Davis (Laura) Green, and Sophia (Dane Trustem) Green; two great-grandchildren, Jack Green and Jordan Green; her sister, Joyce (Jack) Rabata; her sisters-in-law, Carole and Joan Nevin; her dear friend, John LaPlant; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends who were like family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn; and her four brothers, Paul, Roger, Douglas, and Phillip.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 324 East North Street, Jefferson, Wisconsin. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A luncheon at the church will immediately follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice of Jefferson, Wisconsin, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Nitardy Funeral Home is assisting the family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Rainbow Hospice and the staff at Reena Senior Living. Their care and compassion provided comfort to Pat and to our entire family. A special thank you as well to Pat’s wonderful friends for their love and support.

Nitardy Funeral Homes - Fort Atkinson

We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community for over 90 years, when Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
