Richard (Rich) Leroy Craft, 87, of Belleview FL. Passed away on January 7, 2026 in Belleview FL.  Richard was born in Chicago Ill. To Elizabeth and James Craft on September 18th, 1938.

He attended School in and around Detroit Michigan.   

He married Patricia Katherine Miller on September the 17th 1960, at St. Laurence's Catholic Church in Elgin Illinois. Rich worked for the city of Elgin Parks for several years then got his Job at Brady Ready Mix Cement plant as a truck driver delivering cement to construction sites for 25 yrs then retired with the teamster's union. He was in the Army for 2 yrs. Active 2 yrs. Reserve and 2 yrs. Standby.  

Rich was very passionate about classic cars. That was his hobby fixing up old cars and bringing them back to life and going to car shows. He was a member of the Retractable car club. His preferred car was a 57 Ford retractable. He was a Loving Father and grandfather and his kindness was never-ending.  

He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview Florida.  

Rich is preceded in death by his wife Patricia K. Craft, three sons Richard P. Craft, Joseph J. Craft, David A. Craft. Granddaughter Amanda N. Craft and his Grandson Devin Michael Craft.  His Parents Elizabeth Willis, and James Craft. His brothers, Ronald Craft and Cordy Craft, and five sisters Donna, Carroll, Darlene Zaborowski, Sherry Umlah and Sandy.   

Rich is survived by his Children Mary Sue (Craft) De Vales (Warner), William Charles Craft (Penny), And Christopher Mathew Craft (Kimmy Sue), Brother Marvin Winkie. Grandchildren, Ryan James Moore (Kelly), Nathan Richard Craft, Katrina Scarbrough, (Chris), Katherine Ruth Matherly (Travis), Cassandra P. Craft, William Richard Craft, Kevin James Craft (Janice), Jennifer Lynn Pigg, Robert William Snyder. Morgan Rae Craft (Robbie), Gracie Madison Craft, Payton Francis- James Craft, and Hailie N. Craft. Rich has 12 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be at Hiers - Baxley Funeral Home at 5946 SE Robinson Rd. in Belleview Florida, From 3 PM to 5 PM. On January 17th. We will have a little service and the gathering after will be announced at the service.   Richard will have a Mass and Burial in Illinois that is yet to be determined.
