Kernersville, NC – 73, George Heller Boudousquie Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his family Thursday, January 15, 2026.
He was born in New Orleans, LA on November 25, 1952, to the late George Heller Boudousquie Sr. and Marjorie Clair (McDonald) Boudousquie.
George enjoyed spending time with his family. He strived to be the fixer-of-things, giving his all to make sure he didn’t need to hire someone else to get the job done. He was a lifelong learner who dedicated his free time to gaining scientific knowledge in many fields. His mind was focused upward whether on God or on the stars. He was committed to his belief in Making America Great and was passionate in the work of Donald Trump. When given a quiet moment George was ready to fill it with a joke and laughter.
He was a member of Triad Church of Christ in Kernersville. George was an alumnus of Wake Forest University where he earned a B.S. in Political Science.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 23 yrs, Janice Newsome Boudousquie; children, George “Will” Heller Boudousquie, III (wife Leslie), Courtney Mello (husband Ben), and Carrie Jo Street (husband Hunter); granddaughters, Ava Boudousquie, Frankie Jo and Laurel Gray Street; sisters, Sue Thompson, Dale Davis, and, brother, Bret Boudousquie.
The family wishes to extend deep gratitude to Hospice of the Piedmont, High Point, NC for their compassionate care of George. Also, special thanks to Jackie (home hospice nurse), for all the kindness shown to George during her many visits.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 19th at 2:00PM in the Chapel at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, with Pastor David Miller and Pastor Michael Walton officiating, and visitation one hour prior to the service in the Chapel.
