On December 27th, 2025, Bruce Jay Daniels, 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family. A brother and a man of great wisdom and wit; Bruce was cherished and loved for his warm heart and willing spirit to help anyone in need.
Bruce was born on October 10, 1957, in Hawthorne, CA to parents Berniece and Harry Daniels. He was the loved baby brother of sister Dena and brother Chris. Moving to Denver, Colorado at 2 years of age, Bruce would also live in Missouri and Washington State only to settle back in Colorado in 1971 for the remainder of his life.
In 1975 Bruce enlisted in the US Army. Serving his country in Korea and Germany working with Air Defense Artillery. He was honorably discharged in 1982. It was one of the greatest experiences of his life. Bruce went on to college, and his degree would eventually lead him to a career in electronics. He worked for Raytheon, NCR, Hewlett Packard, and finally, Broadcom in Ft. Collins, CO retiring after 25 years as an Equipment Maintenance Technician.
Ft. Collins was his home for 35 years. He loved his community and the life he built. He loved spending time on his property, landscaping, planting Blue Spruce to restore his land, along with many other projects. Camping and boating at Horsetooth Reservoir was his happy place. Poudre Canyon would be his last camping trip. He had found yet another peaceful place to be. He couldn't wait to share it with all of us this summer. He will be missed by his Ft. Collins friends and second family, Rusty, Krystal, and Michael, along with many other friends and colleagues.
Bruce is survived by his sister, Dena Olson; brother, Chris C. Daniels; sister-in-law, Karen M. Daniels; Nephew, Cjay Olson; Niece, Kaley Olson, and her partner John Amacher, along with many cousins who Bruce made cherished memories with over the years in Grand Lake, CO. He always looked forward to the "Z" clan family reunions. Bruce would take the family out on his boat to enjoy the beauty of the mountains surrounding the pristine waters of Grand Lake.
We will miss you and love you forever. The beauty of life is to give. Bruce led a beautiful life.......
Forever in our hearts.
