Dean E. Southwick went to his Father in Heaven on January 4, 2026. He was born on December 15, 1981, and was the beloved and only child of his devoted Mother, Lorraine J. Southwick and the only Son of David F. Southwick.

Dean was a gentle, kind-hearted soul whose warmth was felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Quiet by nature and unfailingly polite, he was known for his intelligence, his humility, and his constant words of gratitude. “Thank you” came easily to him, and kindness came naturally.

Along with his gentle spirit, Dean possessed a wonderful sense of humor and a swift, clever wit. His humor was never cruel or loud — it was smart, well-timed, and often quietly delivered, leaving those around him smiling or laughing before they even realized it. He had a way of lightening moments and connecting with people through thoughtful, understated humor.

From a young age, Dean showed exceptional intelligence, excelling academically, particularly in mathematics. He carried that same dedication and strong work ethic into adulthood, working extremely hard in the concrete industry. His coworkers valued him not only for his reliability and skill, but for his generosity of spirit and his genuine goodness.

Dean had an extraordinary capacity for compassion. Even during difficult times, he remained thoughtful and selfless, always wanting to help others and ease their burdens. He was never mean, never unkind, and endured life’s challenges with quiet strength and grace.

He was deeply loved by his mother, by his father, by sisters, by uncles, by friends, by coworkers, and by all who truly knew him. Many described Dean as one of the nicest people they had ever met.

Dean is survived by his loving Mother, who cherished him beyond measure. He will be remembered for his beautiful heart, quick mind, gentle humor, and unwavering kindness. His presence made the world a better place and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.  God Bless.
