Judith Marie "Judi" Clark, 77, passed away on January 11, 2026, in San Antonio, FL. Born on March 1, 1948, in Mt. Vernon, NY, Judi lived a life marked by dedication to her work, deep love for her family and friends, and a commitment to female independence. She was a strong, quiet soul well before her time.

In 1954, Judi’s parents moved to Hawthorne, NY, in Westchester County. She graduated from Westlake High School in Thornwood, NY in 1966. She went on to earn an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Secretarial from Westchester Community College in Valhalla, NY in June 1968. Her professional journey began at Nestlé Corporation in White Plains, NY, where she worked as a secretary. Over the years, she brought her skills and commitment to several roles across different states and industries.

Judi served as a security guard and later as a trainer for security guards at Millstone Nuclear Power Plant in Waterford, CT. Once the Northeast weather became too much to handle, she relocated to FL. Her career continued at Securitas Security Services USA in Tampa, FL where she was an HR professional and trainer, and later she worked in HR for Home Depot. Judi also worked as an administrative assistant at Atkins Group Home sharing her commitment, impeccable work ethic and attention to detail before eventually embracing retirement. Even then, she remained active and engaged with the public by working at Costco, where they still greeted her by name long after she left employment. Her most recent part-time job was in a nearby community working as a clubhouse receptionist at Lexington Oaks Country Club in Wesley Chapel.

Judi attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in San Antonio and was blessed to find a caring community. Her Saturdays were cherished times—after Mass she would gather with friends over coffee to share stories and laughter, nurturing the bonds of friendship that meant so much to her.

She enjoyed dancing and creating beautiful stained-glass pieces. She was an avid reader and spent time with those close to her. Judi loved to laugh. She deeply loved her family - her children Robert C. Clark (Kara) and Kristin S. Clark (Peter); her grandson Bryce Clark; her grandogs Beans and Zoey; her brother Chuck LaVigna (Wendy); her sister Susan LaVigna Updegraff (Dwight), plus her 2 nephews Jason and Wesley Updegraff, and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles O. LaVigna and Genevieve M. LaVigna, her beloved dog Bella, and grandog Sadie.

Judi’s vibrant spirit will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and continue to inspire joy and connection among them.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Judi may be made to humanesocietyofpasco.org or saopccfl.org.

Judi will be remembered in prayer at mass on January 24, 2026 beginning at 5:30pm at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 32825 Rhode Island Ave., San Antonio, FL, 33576. A service will be held at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY, in the coming months, date and time to be announced.
