Their union was a true partnership, filled with stories that would keep anyone guessing—and laughing—for hours. Together, they raised two incredible children, Tim and Rhonda, whose lives are testimonies to their parents' unwavering commitment to family and fun. Ruth cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, Kaytlyn and Keagan, often found singing along to their favorite tunes or sharing tales that carried a hint of mischief. She always said that laughing with family was the best music of all. Those who had the pleasure of truly knowing Ruth will remember her as a kind, energetic soul with a flair for humor. She had a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome, sharing stories—regardless of how trivial—like they were the most important news of the day. Ruth leaves behind a loving sister, Hazel Sherrouse, and a brother, Everett Pitts, alongside a host of relatives and friends who will sorely miss her sparkle. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Pitts and Alice Pate, and her brothers—Roy, Perry, and Charles Pitts—each of whom she adored.
