Dennis W. Thornton, 62, of Syracuse, passed away after a long battle with COPD, on Sunday, January 11, 2026. He was a collector of many things and he liked to spend time with family, friends and especially his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his; parents, Richard Thornton and Barbara Andrus; and a son, John Mitchell.
He is survived by his significant other, Jeannie Schinto; a son, Joshua Thornton; three grandchildren, Davyne Thornton, Ariel Thornton and Kingston Thornton; two brothers, Thomas Thornton and David Scott Thornton; and several nieces and nephews.
