Carmen Ana Candelario Lebron, age 90, passed peacefully into eternal rest on January 14, 2026, in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Born on April 10, 1935, in Patillas, Puerto Rico, Carmen later moved to the Lower East Side of New York, where she made her home for over 50 years before retiring to St. Petersburg, Florida. Throughout her life, Carmen was surrounded by the things she loved most—music and family. She found great joy in the melodies that filled her home and in the time she shared with those closest to her.
Carmen was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, and a cherished great-grandmother. Her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will be remembered always by those who knew her.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Eddie N. Ramos, Rafael Ramos, and Hector V. Vasquez; eight grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Carmen found comfort in Psalm 23, which reflects the peace and faith that guided her life:
*The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Funeral Services Will be held at Florida Mortuary Funeral 2200 31st St S, St Petersburg Fl 33712 on Friday, January 23,2026 3:00pm -7:00pm
