Elizabeth Anne Waller-Kettler, 52, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home on January 8, 2026, with her husband and best friend Sean Kettler and mother Peggy Weideman at her side after living courageously with Type 1 Diabetes for forty-five years. Liz will be remembered for her gentle spirit, deep compassion for animals, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her.
Born on February 11, 1973, in Boise, Idaho, Liz was the cherished daughter of Gerald Waller and Peggy Weideman. She grew up in Boise, where she spent her childhood playing tennis, skiing, and taking piano lessons - activities that reflected her creativity and love for life. Liz's affection for animals was lifelong; she cared for many pet cats, adored horses, and ensured local birds and squirrels were well fed. She looked forward to her favorite destination each year, Maui, Hawaii, with husband Sean and family. Liz and Sean were married in Maui on August 24, 2003. She has a sign at home from Maui that reads "A Beach Girl Lives Here With Her Big Kahuna".
Liz was so strong and lived life to the fullest and even at the end of her life, she said, "Don't worry, Everything Is Going To Be Okay".
She is survived by her husband Sean Kettler, her father Gerald Waller, her mother Peggy Weideman, her sister Pamela Matthews, her brother-in-law Mike Matthews, her sister Annette Adkins, nephews Jake Adkins and Charles Matthews and nieces Leila Adkins and Anna Matthews.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
