Barbara passed away in 2018 after on going health issues, and after his own health issues in 2022, he decided to move to Connecticut to live with his daughter and family.

Ron enjoyed old western shows, eating out (steak or lasagna), ice cream, time with family, working in the yard, building things, going to church, following the markets and walking his much loved dogs through the years.

Ronald was predeceased by his wife Barbara Jean (Samson) Bodmer (2018) and his son, Dennis P.
