Daniel Lee Gross, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on December 29, 2025, after many years of debilitating illness. Dan was born to Donald and Phyllis (Augustin) Gross on May 27, 1957. Dan graduated from Manitou Springs High School in 1975. He worked along his grandparents most of his life at Colorado Wood Products, their family’s sawmill and wood treating business north of Fort Collins. Dan met and married his wife, Denise Wille in 1977 in Loveland, having celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary only weeks before his passing. Dan and Denise were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Lenee’, who he loved dearly and was intensely proud of. Besides his wife and daughter, Dan is survived by his son-in-law, Jason Robinson, and three wonderful grandsons, Asher, Eli and Ezekiel, his brothers Randy, David, Brian, Jeff and Todd, their spouses and his sister Sandra, his Sister-in-Law Sheila Laguna (Jeff) and numerous nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Alice Elizabeth, his parents, and grandparents. Family plans on spreading Dan’s ashes at places meaningful to his life this spring.
