Surrounded by loving family and very close friends Sandra Cuoco was pronounced as deceased on January 18, 2026. As both a vivacious & gregarious individual, Sandra possessed the innate ability to truly lift up the spirits of all whom she has met and touched. Dependable, perpetually caring and incredibly attentive are amongst are all of her known attributes.

Sandy was born in Monohans, Texas on September 5, 1944, to her parents Joseph (Mac) and Katie Park. She has two sisters, Linda Caldwater (now deceased) and Margaret Ann Johnson who resides with her husband Donnie in Houma, LA. During her youth and teenage years, she was raised in Chanute, KS. Thereafter, she initially attended the University of Kansas but then opted to become a flight attendant and fly the friendly skies of TWA for almost 15 years. While she was flying, she met her husband Garry whom some would attest has become the luckiest man alive to be married to Sandy for almost 47 years. While married they have been blessed with the opportunity to adopt their two children: daughter Laura (now deceased) and Andrew who now resides in Las Vegas, NV.

Whilst while raising their children, Sandy made the decision to return to college when she received a BA in Psychology from Pace University. Still not satisfied with the learning process, she then ultimately attained her master’s degree that allowed her to be recognized as a licensed Marriage & Family Counselor practicing both in Connecticut and here in Beaufort County, SC.

As a therapist her population included troubled youths & dysfunctional families. Her caring ways and splendid insight have endeared her with the utmost respect of all those who she has either treated or worked with.

Finally, these past five years she had managed to endure, with dignity, the conflict presented with the disease known as Alzheimer’s. She will be greatly missed by all those who have been fortunate to have known her.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 22 at Providence Presbyterian Church beginning at 10:00am. Please join me, if so inclined, to make a contribution to the Cure Alzheimer fund, Crescent Hospice, and Canterfield Memory Care.
