Faye Mott Ruffin, 80, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. A funeral service is planned for Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. A visitation hour will be held at 3:00 PM until the service begins. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Parkway Memorial Gardens.

She was born April 11, 1945, in Butler, Georgia, the daughter of Clinton Mott and Catherine Harris Locke. She married the love of her life, Johnny Ruffin on August 9, 1962.  Faye devoted 39 years to Robins Air Force Base as a civil servant before retiring to spend her days watching her grandchildren. Faye known to many as “Meme”, left a legacy that will be carried for generations to come. The heart of the family, The Glue. She was well loved and loved even bigger in return.

Faye is survived by her brother, John Lail; two children: Debbie (John) Mims, and Greg (Amanda) Ruffin; 6 grandchildren: Britney (Tyler) Asbell, Avery Mims, Cassidy (Chandler) Williams, Stephanie Ruffin, Afton Ruffin, Casey Ruffin; and 5 great grandchildren: Lana Asbell, Tucker Asbell, Cade Asbell, Hudson Asbell, and Miller Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Johnny Ruffin and her sister, Carol Taylor.  Through strength, a heart filled with love and a little stubbornness, Meme held her family by heartstrings.  She has passed her determination for family togetherness to all of those she loved dearly.
