Robert James Crudden, Jr., child of God, husband, father, and friend, died peacefully at home on January 14, 2026, at the age of 81.

He is survived by his wife, Jan (Voigt) Crudden, daughters Stacey and Erin, brother Philip and sister Arlene. He was preceded in death by his brother David.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bob was a graduate of Westminster College and spent his career in commercial lending, serving communities through banks in Philadelphia, Reading, Pittsburgh, and Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

A devoted man of faith, he was an active church member wherever he lived sharing his financial expertise in support of ministry and singing in the church choir.

Bob loved traveling with his family, including fulfilling a lifelong dream of driving Route 66 in his convertible. At home he enjoyed building Lionel train displays and being on the golf course, including celebrating a memorable hole-in-one at age 77.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 31 at 11 a.m. at Providence Presbyterian Church, Hilton Head, SC. Livestream available at www.providencehhi.org/worship.
