Norma “Kay” Huddle Webb 84, of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord on the morning of January 20th, 2026. Kay was a loving and devoted woman whose kindness and grace touched all who knew her. She departed this life peacefully surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Kay was born in Church Hill, TN to the late John and Ruth Mullins Huddle. She was a 1959 graduate of Church Hill High School. Employed with the Kingsport Press, Kay served 30+ years with a brief stint with Berryville Graphics in Berryville, VA. She was an active member of Ross Camp Ground United Methodist Church, where she spent many years leading the green bean fundraisers.
She was a cherished mother, whose love knew no limits and whose guidance shaped the lives of her children in countless ways. As a grandmother, she brought warmth, laughter, and endless affection, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She was also a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, always offering support, wisdom, and a listening ear to those who needed it most.
Her life was defined by love, respect, and selflessness. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen and valued, and her gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Whether though quiet acts of kindness or heartfelt words of encouragement, she gave freely of herself and expected nothing in return.
In addition to her parents John and Ruth Mullins Huddle, Kay was preceded in death by her husband Don Webb.
Survivors include her two sons, Wayne Webb (wife Renè) and Ron Webb; grandchildren Kevin Webb, Chad Webb, Nick Webb, Lela Hensley, and Kasey Webb; 15 great-grandchildren that she loved dearly; sister Sandra Boyd; brother Larry Huddle (wife Cathy); along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins and countless friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her, but her love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home - Church Hill. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Jeff Tallent officiating. A graveside service will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ross Camp Ground Memorial Fund c/o Janie Kincheloe, 107 Ivy Lane, Gray, TN 37615.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Amedysis Hospice Care and NHC Kingsport for their love and care in her final days, as well as the friends and family that assisted in her care.
