Mr. Adrian Willard Colston, Sr., 64, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on January 12, 2026.  He was the son of Willie Colston, Sr. and Johnetta Nevada Colston (Crenshaw). Adrian was born as the second twin, in Chicago, Illinois, on August 30, 1961, at Provident Hospital. 

Adrian was raised in Pensacola, Florida where he was confirmed at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in 1975 and graduated from Woodham High School in 1980.   Upon leaving Pensacola, Adrian lived in Atlanta Georgia for several years before settling in Charlotte, North Carolina where he worked for many years in the hospitality industry.   Adrian was preceded in death by his father, Willie Colston Sr., maternal grandparents, Frederick LaRue and Christine Laura Crenshaw (Bell), and paternal grandparents, Herbert Colston and Lela Belle Jones (Grigsby).  

Adrian leaves to cherish his memories; two children: Adrian Willard Jr. of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Jennifer Chinea Colston of Pensacola, Florida; his mother, Johnetta Crenshaw Colston, and twin sister, Andrea "Ann" Willnette Colston, both of Pensacola, Florida; three brothers: Carl Antony of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Eric Woodrow, and Willie Colston, Jr., both of Charlotte, North Carolina; and two special cousins, Mrs. Trevor Crenshaw Payton of Loganville, Georgia, and Glenn Allen Colston of Pensacola, Florida.  Adrian is also survived by a passel of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.  

A private family gathering will occur on January 21 and a cremation on January 22, both performed at Tribute & Tallent Funeral Home located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
