Lula Claudette Beck (Luker), 86, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on January 16, 2025, at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, South Carolina.

Born and raised in South Carolina, Lula lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and simple joys. She worked her entire career as a weaver at Granby Cotton Mills, where her strong work ethic and perseverance were evident to all who knew her.

Lula found happiness in spending time doing what she loved most-playing pool and bowling-and she enjoyed the fellowship and friendships she made as a member of the Cayce Moose Lodge in Cayce, South Carolina. She will be remembered for her steady spirit, resilience, and the care she had for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Miles; her brothers, James Welch and Ralph Welch; and her sisters, Sandra Brazell, Doris Fields, and Linda Falaw.

She is survived by her sons, Gary W. Luker and Richard Miles (Julie), who will forever cherish her memory.

Lula's life leaves a legacy of strength, loyalty, and love that will be remembered by all who knew her.
