Patricia Anne Bilbow-Phelps, 78, of National Park, NJ sadly passed away surrounded by family on January 19, 2026.
Born in Philadelphia Pa., she has spent most of her life as a resident of National Park. For years, Patricia was the switchboard receptionist for the Gloucester County Times in Woodbury. She felt fortunate to have spent a couple of seasons working aboard the Cape May-Lewes Ferry which was her favorite job of all time. Pat spent the last decade of her working career as a bus driver and office support for Gloucester County Special Services before retirement.
She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandchildren any chance she got; spending time with family and friends was just as important to her and anything related to turtles. She was 100% proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed many events at the AOH in National Park. She was also very proud of her South Philadelphia heritage and the strong ties her family has with Quaker City String Band. Watching and listening to Quaker City String Band performance whether in the schoolyard or on 2nd Street made her very happy. In the early years she was a member of the ladies auxiliary at the VFW 6884 in National Park. She is a current member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Army Navy Garrison #52 in National Park where she enjoyed playing bar bingo with family and friends. She also enjoyed her time at the Elks and attended many Irish weekends in North Wildwood. Her love and kindness will be greatly missed by many.
Predeceased by her parents, Matthew J. Bilbow Sr. and Anastasia Bilbow (Brown); her husband, Robert (Bob) Phelps; her brother, Brian P. Bilbow. She was a loving mother to her children, Tracy Burke (Brian), and Adam Lukasiewicz (Jeanette); cherished Mom-Mom to 4 grandchildren, Erin Panaro (Aaron), Ashley Burke, Ethan Lukasiewicz and Jilian Lukasiewicz; Best GG to, Anthony Panaro, Brielle Panaro and Giavonna Correa; step children, Robert "Bubba" Phelps (partner-Shannon) daughter Caleigh, Shawn Phelps (Katie) children Jamison and Bailey. Devoted sister to her brothers, Matthew J. Bilbow (Marie), Joseph Bilbow (Monica) and sister-in-law, Anne Marie Bilbow. She was also "Aunt Patty" to many nieces, nephews, cousins, Pat or Patty Anne to her many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 8:00am until 10:00am at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at Holy Angels Parish at St. Matthews Church, 4th and Monument, National Park. Interment will follow in New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
In lieu of flowers, Mom left us a note requesting “that the friends and family perform random acts of kindness in her memory.”

McGuinness Funeral Homes - Woodbury
We have served the Woodbury community since 1951, when our founder, James A. McGuinness, opened our first funeral home. He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family....
