Genoveva "Geno" Melgoza de Luna

Geno was born in Acuitzeramo, Michoacan, Mexico. and lived in Salinas for the last 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ramon and her daughter Irma. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Maria Luisa, Jose Luis, Ramon, Humberto, Alvaro, and Beatriz. Genoveva also leaves behind her brother Ezequiel and sister Elisa. Her legacy continues through her 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Healey Mortuary on February 2 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saint Mary of the Nativity on February 3 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Known affectionately as Geno, she was a gentle and happy person who brought warmth to those around her. Her sociable nature made her a cherished presence in the lives of many.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the nurses from VNA for their compassionate care during this time.
May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
