Linda K. Knight, age 68, passed away on January 20, 2026. She was born on April 26, 1957, in York County, Pennsylvania, to Elmer Walters and Ethel (Crabtree) Walters.

 

Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who focused her life on caring for her family. She cherished time spent with loved ones and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for those closest to her.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Missie (David) Beck, and her daughter-in-law, Joanna Knight. She was a proud grandmother to Ariana Knight, Alana Knight, Gunner Beck, and Ariah Beck, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her siblings, Lois Calhoun, Daniel Jack Walters, Rita Mauk, and Roxann Scruggs, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ethel Walters, her son, Chuck Knight, and her brothers, Mark and Billy Walters.  

 

Linda’s life was defined by her love for family, and her memory will live on through the lives she touched. 

 

Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 30th at 2 pm at Crabtree Cemetery in Kermit, VA. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 pm.
