Penny Jo Baker Whitehorn of greeley Colorado, passed away peacefully, on January 5 2026 at age of 66, she was blessed to have her sister Amanda Baker by her side. She was born in Greeley, Colorado to Charles Baker and Vesta Baker Tow.

She spent much of her last years with her love John Ransdell.

Penny loved flowers, butterflies, quilting, crocheting, playing bingo and even fishing and camping. She loved to have her own pets at home. Had dogs and cats and even birds at one time or another.  She loved lemons popcorn and sweets.  She grew up having pigs, goats and chickens on a small farm in Fort Lupton. She learned how to slop the pigs and milk the goats. She grew up in a very large family being a middle child of the bunch of which she fit right in. 

Penny has three long Lost children which she longed to reconnect with, Christopher Laine Claire, Penelope (Nelly) Lee Spain and Robert Dale Junior Spain. She had a full life of many many brothers and sisters and many sisters and brother in laws. She was blessed to be part of the large family consisting of sisters Debbie Brown, Rosetta Baker. Sandra Muller, Donna Baker (Ted Rojas), Amanda Baker, Christi Tow, Lillian Kay Woltman and brothers Rodney Tow (Brenda Tow), Keven Tow (Tracy Tow), Scott Tow, Clinton Tow (Julie Tow), Rickey Baker. She has many, many nieces and nephews and even great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Mother Vesta Lee Tow, step dad Loren Marvin Tow, Father Charles Junior Baker Step mother Dorothy Baker, Baby Brother Glen Alan Baker, sister Terri Tow, brother Loren Arthur Tow.
