After earning his associate’s degree in architecture, Michael transitioned his eye for design into a successful career in retail, serving as a Buyer for various hardware lines. His professional life reflected his personal passions: he was a master of mechanics and the "go-to" person for anyone needing to know how to fix, build, or improve something.

Michael was a devoted husband to his wife, Vonna, and a proud father to Michael, Sean, and Alina. While he was known for his vast knowledge and steady hands, he was equally famous for his trademark "grumpiness"—a quality his family remembers with a smile, knowing it was often the outer shell of a man who cared deeply for his own.

He is survived by Vonna, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and a collection of tools that likely no one else knows how to use quite as well as he did.
