José P. Solís falleció el 17 de enero de 2026. Nació en Matamoros, México, el 4 de julio de 1944.
Le sobreviven su esposa, Maribel Aguilar Álvarez; sus hijos José Solís Jr. (Texas), Josué Solís A. (Salinas) y Marco Solís (Salinas); y sus hijas Diana Solís (Colorado), Debbie Solís-Gaspar (Texas), Anita Armendáriz de Pineda (Madera) y Martha Solís-Soto (Madera).
Será profundamente extrañado por su familia y amigos.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 4 de febrero de 2026, de 1:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m., en la Funeraria Healey Mortuary. El rosario se rezará a las 4:00 p. m. La misa fúnebre se celebrará el jueves 5 de febrero de 2026, a las 10:00 a. m., en la Iglesia St. Mary's. El sepelio se realizará posteriormente en el cementerio Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
