Clyde Richard “Elde” Earley, 86, of North Port, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Elde proudly served his country in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve, receiving an honorable discharge after years of dedicated service. He moved from Logansport IN, to North Port Fl in 1979, where he became well known and deeply involved within the community. He was a little league baseball coach for many years and took great joy in supporting local fundraisers and charities. Elde was his children and grand children's biggest cheerleader. He was full of life and had a gift for making everyone laugh. His infectious laugh and warm spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. In his free time, Elde enjoyed collecting HO gauge trains, and had a special love for holiday decorating, especially Halloween and Christmas which brought happiness to his family and community. Elde is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Brenda Earley and his children, Clyde and spouse Jean, Jeff and his fiancée Kevin, Brenton and spouse Cassandra, Ron and spouse Lori, Daniel, Ed, Sherry , Chris and spouse Michelle and Joseph and spouse Marissa. Along with 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was also the loving father of a daughter, Sondra Earley, who preceded him in death in 1999. A Celebration of Life will be held on February 2nd at 10 a.m. at Farley Funeral Home in North Port, Florida. Services will be followed by a graveside service at 12:30 @ Venice Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Center Road. Elde will be deeply missed and forever remain in our hearts.
