Darlene Pinkerton Weise, 89, formerly of Bonneau Beach died peacefully on January 22nd at home in North Charleston, SC. Darlene was born in Milam County, Texas to Clarence and Annie Pinkerton on July 5, 1936. She married the love of her life, John Walton Weise on October 12, 1951 and was happily married for 69 years. Known to her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many others as Meamaw. She was loved by all who knew her. Darlene is survived by a son, Johnny Weise, of Savannah, GA; a daughter, Cheryl Fuller (Jimmy), of North Charleston and a sister-in-law, Deborah Tovar, of Rockdale, TX. Meamaw is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John; a son, Ricky Weise; a daughter, Rhonda Rodgers; a great grandson, Dalton Weise; as well as her parents; a sister, Nita Jean Toomer and two brothers, Darnell and Josh Pinkerton. Darlene’s Memorial Service will be Thursday, February 5th, 10:00 AM at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial, 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC.
