Bonnie Jean Green, 83, of Belleview, passed away on January 25, 2026, in Summerfield, Florida.
Bonnie was born in Narrows, VA to William Clinton and Arlene Riddle on September 20, 1942. She attended Ypsilanti High School in Michigan. She married Richard Green on August 29, 1984, in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Bonnie worked as a cook at the Ann Arbor Big Boy for 19 years and then at the University of Michigan League for seven years. She attended the Belleview United Methodist Church and volunteered at the church thrift store for many years.
Bonnie enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted wife to Richard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Clinton and Arlene Riddle, her husband, Richard Green, her oldest son, Michael D. Adkins, and her brother Ronald Lee Riddle.
She is survived by her son, John (Tracey) Adkins, daughter Anna (Gerald) Roe; sister Ruby (Myron) Clark, grandchildren Michael Adkins, Jeffrey Adkins (deceased), Kyle Adkins, Rachel Darty, Tony Adkins, Corey Adkins, Ronald Bishop, Haley Tolson, and seven great grandchildren.
A visitation will be 10AM-11AM on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home in Belleview. A funeral service will be held following the visitation.
