Carmen leaves behind her four beautiful children Jocelyn M Diaz, Johnny B Cosme, Evelyn L Cosme, and youngest Estephan A Cosme of Amsterdam NY. Carmen leaves behind an amazing man who stood by her side everyday. A man who was her fiancé and soon to be her husband Anthony Green of Amsterdam NY.
Throughout Carmen's life she enjoyed the laughter of children and the immense love they brought to her spirit. Carmen accompanied many friends of all ages and cultures. Carmen was considered one of an older spirit. Carmen is a butterfly guided to be fearless and free. Nature called for Carmen often. Carmen was enchanted by wilderness and loved to speak to the butterflies. Carmen was a woman of humor but always serious about how she portrayed her love for everyone. Carmen carried herself with much respect and loved those who loved her. Carmen brought many families together and was the glue to her own. Carmen found such peace in giving to others. Carmen stood tall and helped others who couldn't stand for themselves. Carmen spent most of her time with family and friends whom she considered family. Carmen enjoyed her many crafts and the peace nature brought to her. Carmen was and will always be of purity and strength. Carmen believes in God above all. Carmen was taken suddenly but assured all that there should be no fear in death for she will be saved. As Carmen faced her biggest battles in life she never stopped believing in God's bigger purpose. Carmen, a warrior, provided protection and words of encouragement that will live on everlastingly. Carmen with her heart built of pure steel and a will greater than giants is greatly missed. We will not grieve Carmen but rejoice, for Carmen has conquered this world. Carmen leaves behind a large ripple and will forever be in our hearts. Carmen was and will forever shed the light, love and happiness on our hearts. Till we meet again. We now would like to thank the Gateway House of Peace in Saratoga County for the immense help they have brought upon our family. We are forever grateful for the clarity and peace you brought upon our mother in her last days. Thank you to all who helped in our times of need.
