Sharon Daughton, 80, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 13th, 1945, and grew up in Jacksonville, Illinois. She attended Illinois College majoring in mathematics and minoring in French. She met her husband, William Daughton, there. They were married for 58 years.
Sharon dedicated her career to the field of information technology, working for notable organizations including Hewlett-Packard and Colorado College. Her professional journey took her to various communities throughout Colorado and Missouri, including Colorado Springs, Boulder, Longmont, and Rolla, Missouri.
Known for her generous spirit and caring nature, Sharon had a warmth that drew people to her. Her friendly personality touched the lives of everyone she encountered, and she was beloved by family, friends, and colleagues alike.
Sharon's greatest joy was her family. She cherished her role as grandmother to her six grandchildren: Jacey, Holden, Ian, Seth, Vanessa, and Riley, and took deep pride in watching them grow.
Sharon is survived by her devoted husband, William Daughton; her sons, Tim Daughton and his wife Cathy of Appleton, Wisconsin, and Jeff Daughton and his wife Shelley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her six beloved grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
