Rodney Floyd Haymore (79), born March 30, 1946, of Mesa, peacefully passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Rodney grew up on a farm and was a hard worker. He had many talents and abilities, working in several industries, but mainly construction. He paid attention to detail and did excellent work. Rodney served two-and-a-half years in the Uruguay, Montevideo mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and became fluent in Spanish. He was an Eagle Scout, played the piano, balalaika and served others. He is survived by his fiancé, Shanna Mayberry, four sisters, Janelle Langkilde, LeAnn Hord, Sally McDowell, and Lana McLean, and one brother, Reed Lamar Haymore. He had eight children and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dorothy Haymore, and a baby daughter, Sarah Ruth Haymore. We thank Shanna, Stillwater Hospice, nurses, and friends and family who helped care for Rodney.

A viewing will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Porter Park Ward building: 933 E. Brown Road, Mesa, from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m., with funeral services at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at the St. David Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., in St. David, Arizona.
