Jose Torres Sanchez, age 73 of Castroville, CA, passed away on January 25th, 2026. Was born on March 18, 1953, in Arteaga Michoacan Mexico, he was a devoted and loving father to Raquel Sanchez (Passed on), Jose Luis Jr Sanchez, Ana Sanchez, Jorge Sanchez and Sergio Sanchez.
Jose was a hard-working and dedicated man. He worked for Dole for many years working as a line worker, where he was known for his dedication to his job and retired from there Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of nature loved to have walks in the beach and enjoyed being with his family and friends he had integrity, kindness, generosity and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by Jose Luis Sanchez, Ana Sanchez, Jorge Sanchez and Sergio Sanchez. Grandchildren, Jose Jr Sanchez, Josiah N. Sanchez, Damian I. Sanchez, Adrian X. Sanchez, Jayden A. Sanchez, Andrew K. Sanchez, Noah E. Sanchez, Sariah Murillo Sanchez, Izabella Sanchez, Ethan Sanchez (Passed on) Dominic A. Sanchez, Adriel Sanchez, Jacob Sanchez, and Donna Sanchez. Siblings Raquel Anzorena, Beto Anzorena, and Daniel Anzorena, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
