Our dearest Mom. You will always be with us. Her love was the kind that stayed with you long after the moment had passed.

Linda Pauline Van Camp, maiden name Nicholson, passed away on January 25th, 2026
Born in Ontario Oregon on August 8, 1948 to Hayley Nicholson and Farah Nicholson.
Life partner of Dave Walters. She has lived in Payette ID since retirement.
She is survived by her youngest brother Ron Connally. Son of Verl Connally, who we consider our Granddad as well. Eldest son Allen Van Camp and Leroy B Van Camp III.
She was a loving Aunt to our many cousins and special friends.
So many stories and great times including back when we were kids, camping, holidays, and the joys of moving from Naval station to Naval station over the 20+ years. We made many lifelong friends from San Diego Ca. and Bangor Wa.
Family and friends was the center of Linda’s world. She treasured every moment spent with us, making each feel seen, valued, and loved. Her kindness, wit, and steadfast devotion to God defined her life. The love she shared and the memories we created will live on in those who knew her. Though she is deeply missed, her spirit will forever remain with us.
Dear Heavenly Spirit,
Maker of all life… A devoted soul comes to you as swift as an arrow and sharp as a knife. She would rather serve you than rule anywhere.
Let her come to you and serve in heaven as she did here on Earth. She is Linda Pauline Nicholson. The best mother any man could ask for. Always happy to see us smile. Always there in our darkest hour, telling us stand up and be counted son! We can only hope to see her like again.
It is with somber hearts we pay our respects. But it will not be the last. You will always be with me, right here (pointing to our heart). Whispering to me in my dreams. I know you visited me recently. Given some time our sorrow will turn to joy in remembrance of your love and support.
Dearest Mother may the light of the angels sing your arrival and the gift of your presence. May there be only sunshine and your delicious food fill the air. No pollen please.
I'm sure you’ve already said hi to Elvis. He’s the man.
You’re part of all of us now.
You’re the best! We Love you and miss you so much!
